Information we collect

We collect only what a bail bond actually requires:

• Contact details — name, phone number, email address and mailing address for the defendant, the indemnitor (co-signer) and any references.
• Case information — the jail or facility, booking number, charges, bond amount and court dates.
• Identity and financial information — date of birth, government ID, employment and payment details, collected because Florida law and our surety require them before a bond can be written.
• Site usage — pages viewed and basic device information, used to keep the site working and to measure which pages bring in calls.

How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry and post a bond.
• To send you the paperwork you have to sign, and to confirm when it is signed.
• To remind you and the defendant about court dates and check-ins.
• To take payment and keep the account record our surety and Florida law require.
• To comply with the law, a court order, or a lawful request from a government agency.

Who else sees your information

We share your information only with the parties needed to write and service your bond:

• The surety company that underwrites the bond, and the court or jail where it is posted.
• Service providers acting on our behalf — our e-signature platform, payment processor, email and text messaging providers, and our hosting. They may use your data only to perform that service for us.
• Law enforcement or a court, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own advertising.

How long we keep it

Bail bond records are retained for the period required by Florida law and our surety — generally several years after the bond is discharged. Website inquiries that never become a bond are kept only as long as needed to follow up.

Security

Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access limited to the staff who need it. No system is perfect and we cannot guarantee absolute security — please do not send sensitive documents or card numbers by plain email or text.

Your choices

• Texts — reply STOP to any message to stop them.
• Email — use the unsubscribe link, or ask us.
• Access or deletion — call or email us to ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, subject to the records we are legally required to keep.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. A bail application concerning a minor is completed by an adult indemnitor.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted here.
